APizza scholls was great! We read the reviews about the Caesar salad (with no anchovies ) and it definitely worth ordering. We had the Paulie Gee pizza and was excellent! We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened and there was already a line. Fortunately we got in right away! Definitely will go back and definitely recommend.

This pizzeria offers a winning combination of friendly service and a relaxed vibe. The atmosphere is comfortable, perfect for a casual meal. But the true star is the pizza. They use high-quality ingredients, and it shows. The Amatriciana is a must-try, but everything on the menu looks delicious. Prices are fair for the quality, making this a great value. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I've heard about Apizza Scholls for awhile now but never visited because it was far and dinner only. We were seriously thinking - which pizza place is too successful/cool to not do lunch???? Is it that good???? Anyway after pizza week, we realized that Portland does have great pizza and so wanted to try it out finally. I have to say, it was good for sure, but it was not much or not better than some others we visited for pizza week such as baby doll. Either way it's still a good pizza but because we didn't want to wait, we got takeout and there's still a 18% gratuity on takeout!! So the pizza ended up being almost $35-36, which is REALLY expensive for pizza and it was kind of stingy on toppings. Like a giant slice might of pig and pineapple had like 3 pineapple on it... anyway I love the burnt, slightly crispy but chewy and bouncy dough. But will continue to explore other pizzas

My fav pizza spot to order from next to Baby Doll Pizza. Perfectly charred pizzas. Crust is perfect. Toppings are all great quality. Sauce is delicious. The consistency is the most impressive part, your pizza will look the same even if you order 200x. All love to the staff/owners

Best pizza in PDX!! I've tried many pizza spots in Portland and apizza Scholls always comes out on top for me. The crust is just the right balance of chewiness and crispiness, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Whether you're a fan of classic margherita or adventurous combinations, Apizza Scholls has something to satisfy every palate. The service is friendly and efficient. If you like truffle you must get the Tartufo2! I also recommend getting their habanero ranch, this sauce is so good and has kick of spiciness. The tartufo2 dipped in the habanero ranch is such an elite combo. The restaurant has a chill vibe with plenty of seats--there are two sides of the restaurant. So far, I never had to wait more than 15-20min for seats If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit.

Haven't been here for a few years, only because of distance. (My wife used to work in Portland, so we could go over easier.) In my opinion- the best pizza I've had in the area. I prefer them to all the other local places that are also very good. The Margherita, Pizza Amore, Pig and Pineapple, and the New York White are all outstanding. The Ceaser Salad was also excellent here too. If you live nearby and haven't gone, they are definitely worth the wait!

Was in Portland visiting from the East Coast - decided to check this spot out due to all the great reviews I see on Yelp! Spot was solid, definitely see why it's so popular. Got there roughly 5 minutes after the restaurant opened (5:05 pm). Because they just opened not too many people there so I grabbed a seat at the bar (which was empty). Glanced through the food and drink menu. Pizza's obviously their specialty, though they also serve calzones and salads. They also have a good selection wine, cider, and beer, including some local craft beer. Most draft beers were $7 with 64oz pitchers priced at $26, which seemed reasonable. I ended up ordering one of the local draft beers (forget which one). So they don't do slices here, but, even though they're not in the menu, they serve 12" pizzas, which are small enough for one person. You can build your own pizza or order one of the wide variety of "house" pizzas they offer. I ordered the 12" pepperoni and sausage pizza, which was priced at $17.50 ($15 for pepperoni pizza + $2.50 for sausage topping). The pizza came out fairly quickly and was great! I'd grade the pizza on the same level (though probably not QUITE as good) as some of the best pizza I've had in NYC (the pizza had a similar taste and feel, for example, as some of the pizza I've had at Lombardi's in Lower Manhattan). The pizza was very good, though did come out with a slightly burnt taste. The spot started filling up as I ate. Most of the patrons were dressed up, though the dress code is technically casual (I was dressed casually). They also had some classic videogames in a room across from the bar (Galaga, Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Frogger, among others), which was cool. The servers/bartenders were all friendly and on point with their service. Ate at a handful of restaurants in Portland, I'd say this one was the best. Would definitely recommend and I'll likely be back if I ever go back to Portland.

Best. Pizza. Ever. I'm not joking when I say we've been thinking about apizza scholls everyday since getting back home from our trip. Literally the best pizza I've ever had. We came by on a Saturday around 8:15 hopinggg they still have enough dough. Luckily we were sat and they literally sold out just 15 minutes after we came. There's 2 doors you can come into. One was for pickup/togo and one for dine-ins. Our waitress was nice and helpful. It's small and intimate inside and you can see into the kitchen where the magic happens. Perfect for date nights. Their base is sourdough and is perfectttt. It's crispy and chewy and thin but still has a bite to it. It's an art honestly. We got the apizza amore for that elevated touch from the margherita. Also, get the arugula! It's tossed in olive oil and salt. Sooooo good on the apizza amore. I dream of the day i can have this again ~

If you are looking for a place with real pizza, this is your spot! A place that feels casual, yet a little fancy. You could bring or date or even a family. They actually have a little area in the back with classic arcade games. It has a bar with a few stools, but they only serve beer and wine! The staff is super friendly and quickly responds to all your wants and desires. We had several people stop by to ask if we needed anything or to help grab empty plates/cups. Our table started off with some olives and some wine. It feels like you want some bread, but you know you will soon have pizza. The Caesar salad was phenomenal! Fresh and well dressed, anchovies are recommended. I loved the croutons! We had two pizzas split into halves. One with half Pepperoni and half Margherita, the other with half Tartufo2 The Electric Boogaloo and half Pig & Pineapple. They were all incredible! Well seasoned, amazing crust - not too burnt. All of the toppings were delicious - I think the boogaloo was my favorite. I will definitely be back to try a few more options. No slices - so best to go with several people. Prices are moderate and I highly recommend going!
